Are you having trouble getting pregnant?

In the past, infertility was always considered a woman's problem. However, it has now been proven that infertility is a problem for both sexes, with equal proportions of men and women. One of the most common causes of female and male infertility in the Czech Republic is nutritional disorders, overweight and obesity.
author: Ludmila Francová High weight in women negatively affects hormone production and causes menstrual and ovulation disorders. Excessive fat not only leads to cycle disorders, but also reduces the success of artificial insemination. The body of an obese woman produces much more of the hormone estrogen, which leads to hormonal imbalance. This results in the woman stopping her periods and not ovulating. If an overweight woman happens to get pregnant and successfully carries the fetus to term, she is at increased risk of childbirth. This usually involves a long labor with heavy blood loss or a cesarean section. The baby is usually born with a low birth weight. Overweight women are also very often at risk of gestational diabetes and high blood pressure, these diseases also negatively affect fetal development. Male obesity leads not only to infertility but also to miscarriages. In obese men, the DNA, which carries the male genetic code, is torn, which puts the sperm out of commission. The sperm of obese men are also slower and lazier. Obese men have more problems with erection and reduced sperm quality. The quality is affected, among other things, by the medications that men take. And this is again in connection with the consequences of obesity, i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, liver disease, ... I often hear from my clients: "I can't do anything about it, I have my mother's figure. Everyone in our family has always been fit". Yes, genetics do play a significant role in whether we are predisposed to being obese. It is said that it is 40 to 70%. This is also influenced by the more frequent marriages between two obese people, and we cannot forget the influence of the mother's diet during pregnancy, when the fetus adapts to the mother's metabolism. However, a factor that we can influence is unlimited access to high-calorie foods. If an obese person adjusts their diet for half a year towards a nutritionally balanced low-carbohydrate diet, a much higher success rate of pregnancy is guaranteed, the success rate increases by about 30%.The NUPO Diet will also help you start losing weight. And the best part! From my own experience, I know that conception can really be influenced by diet. After all, I am the "aunt" of about 25 babies who are with us in the world thanks to diet adjustments and fat reduction, both in the future mother and father. How I always like to hear that we will have to interrupt our weight loss program for a while.
